It’s the Toyota Horn, it’s from my 2005, I transferred to my 2015, now my 2024, it’ something different

 

They were a popular 2nd gen mod. A guy here made them.

both the xact contour and weatherbeaters for the 2024 tacoma mats have the rectangle 5.04x1.14 inch insert front and back. will need to make 2 orders for 4 inserts

 

Installed a custom cut steel grill. Flag design with star cuts and horizontal oval cuts for stripes. “Toyota” lettering painted to match the factory solar octane (generally orange but always shows red in pictures I take on the iPhone - color is awesome). Gave Matt at Customcargrills.com rough idea of what I was thinking. Matt’s design was perfect. Super reasonable price, fast, and sent with well organized mounting parts. Guy is great and helpful. Must have emailed or texted a dozen times through the process.
Love the result and very glad I replaced the chunky plastic crap Toyota slapped on the front of the 4th gen.
Quick note that swapping out the grill does take some work - removing the entire front end, including the bumper. Took several friends, hours, and beers. But I could probably complete it in 2-3 hours if had to do it a second time.
Oh, added some DRL/turn signal fang lights purchased on Amazon to replace the plain black plastic inserts below the headlights. But didn’t connect the wiring because the instructions were nearly nonexistent and didn’t want to risk screwing up the headlights or turn signals. Maybe next weekend.

 

Installed RCI rock sliders. Initially did not like the look as it makes the truck appear lower, but they're already growing on me. I was also thinking about upgrading from 285/70/17 to 285/75/17 with my next tire purchase, which will help as well.

 

I am not seeing your front camera. Would you point the way?

 

Unfortunately, I didn’t have to ask them to cut in for the front camera. Front cam was not in the factory upgrades on my truck. And not many trucks to choose from for a manual in any TRD trim. This one took 4 weeks to track down while still in build phase destined for a dealer 150 miles away.

 

Installed the RC rear shackle kit and D-Rings and a hitch step.

Have seen them when you select turns?

 

It’s just a resonator to make the exhaust note a bit fuller and not as obnoxious since it’s coming out of a long bendy tube that amplified some nasally sounding frequencies much more than others. Not really much of anything. Not necessary with an axle dump

 

No. When lights are on they have three leds. When you go in reverse they are bright white. When you stop they are bright red.
