I don't know if you ever saw my set-up.
I have an Iceco refrigerator that is kept behind the driver set. It's powered by a Bluetti solar generator that is behind the front passenger seat. I keep it plugged into the cig lighter. I also have a solar panel for it that I just got.
I bought my Bluetti from Home Depot, I had lots of gift cards.

    Watch for sales.

    It survived Moab.

It is completely portable. I can move it anywhere I want.

Just my $.05 (inflation is everywhere)

Relentless Fab hybrid bumper, 2.5” Dobinsons IMS lift, RCI skids and sliders, block heater. Painted FJ Steelies. Was trying to keep it stock, now slowly building for the Wisconsin trails.
A grinder and paint make me the welder I ain’t!
I used to be ok at welding when I did it most everyday. Now I’ve lost most of those skills and make all the newbie mistakes again. Like looking at the arc instead of the puddle.

Welding is just like math-a perishable skill... use it or loose it!

That's why I fire up my cutting torch at least once a year, that's an important skill that I really don't want to lose!
Of course I haven't used the oxy/acetylene welding tips in decades, so I really have lost that skill

I took so much math in school I got to the classes where it started getting theoretical and I noped the F out, now I can barely do long division LOL. But welding that cab mount I just picked up the MIG gun and felt like a duck in water (other than this silly 120V welder I have being a little wonky on setup).

Plus the whole grinder and paint thing.

I did great at math until I got to calculus. Still convinced that is all just made up

In college my wife was a double major, Math/Computer Science. These days she uses a calculator. Age will eventually catch us all.

Remembering the math that was taught to us in the 12th grade is irrelevant.

The imports thing, IMO, is to continue learning or teaching yourself new things.

I was fine through Calc III. Differential Equations just seemed to piss me off...

My intended majors were Mech-E and CompSci so yeah I feel that. I did most of my calc in high school and then it got real wacky in college. I think calc made sense to me because it can define 3D shapes and I'm good with spatial stuff like CAD drawings and what not. Differential was not my friend either, and I can't remember the names of the other ones but they were aligned with what a Math major takes. It was around the time I took the cryptography classes and whatever math was associated to that semester finally made me give up. Strong correlation between math majors and mental problems so I'll just say I quit because I didn't want to go more insane than I already am.

I never made it that far.
Had a pre calc and adv physics and when I determined I wasn't going to go to a 4 yr university...
I said, "F this!" and dropped those courses.

I had a programmer working for me for a few years. While he had no social skills whatsoever, he was a freaking genius in other areas of life.
He was telling me about his high school math class, his differential equations teacher was always mad at him because he kept pointing out and correcting the teacher's mistakes!

I started in undeclared engineering then went to computer engineering. Decided I didn’t want to code for a living so switched to MIS. College would have been a lot easier if I started there lol

I remember in calc 2 one of the exams, the highest anyone in the class got was like 50%.. it was rough. I passed solely because the class was on a curve and like 25% of the grade was doing the homework

Calc II was a stinker. I kinda just got it though. Had a roommate in college just livid because I wouldn't even go to class for calc III-I just showed up for the tests-and managed a C. I started college as a declared Civil Engineering major.
