After reviewing with a guy from Mule Exped Outfitters who has a Mits alloy tray, we thought our big 2.5" relocation would fit with a modified tray support (bolt-on), but don't think it has yet been done.

So it will depend on several factors based on brand of tray or flat bed

If I'm understanding right, Archive suggests a maximum 3.5" backspacing (4.75" Wheel Backspace, 1.25" Spacer) for wheel/tire clearance with 2.5x12 smoothies. Not sure what tire size that's for, but I'm guessing it's 285/75R17 (34x11.25?) due to how common they are. I'm running 35x10.5R17 Kendas, 4Runner SEMA wheels (17x7 +4mm, so 4.16" backspacing), and 1.25" Spidertrax spacers, so:

    4.16" Wheel Backspace - 1.25" Spacer = 2.91" Backspacing

I'm good to go, right? Or am I misunderstanding? Just want to make sure I order up a thicker spacer before I install next week, if need be.

    stock a fawk!
Same setup here. Except I went with an 1.5" spacer. By the way @ARCHIVE what's the biggest shock I can fit in this bad boy? A king 3.0 bypass 3 tube?

Had my Archive kit put on today with some custom valved king 2.5x12 smoothies with adjusters. This is the current amount of up and down travel i was able to get out of it today. I am currently limited by my shocks kissing the shock body and my 1.25 spacers are already on the way. I still have about an inch of up and down travel remaining. Install time was about 5.5 hours for others to reference.

just got a set delivered from your Labor Day sale. Thanks @ARCHIVE

    Can you confirm Radflo 6SR-004-90
2.5x14” 7/8 shaft 90 degree fitting RR smooth body will fit?

im pairing it with 37x12.5x17 with
A 4.3 BS -10 offset wheel. I’m thinking a 1 and a quarter spacer will be needed for full up travel. Kinda winging it though until it’s all installed with limit straps and flex test.

Any input would be much appreciated.

You'll need a bigger spacer. I have 1.25 spacers on mine and they almost touch at full bump. 35s on -25mm wheels 12" shocks

Probably 2" spacer with 12.5s and 4.3" BS.
If you keep collapsed length to ~23.5", you don't limit up travel.
Do a straight fitting out of the shock.

Okay thank you. I’ll maybe switch to at
True beadlock wheel with a better backspacing instead of running my current

    KIT ALLOWS FULL BUMP W/ 2.5" X 14" (~23.5" COLLAPSED)!!!
YOU DO NOT LOOSE BUMP TRAVEL
Please take it from the designer of this kit, it was designed from the beginning to stuff 2.5 x 14" shocks (23.5" collapsed length), even with thin stock packs and stock bump stops.

Accutune steered me to 12" shocks. I run rxt leafs and 4x innovations shackle flip. I guess to use all 14" you'll need deavers and hammer hangers?
