lol, the caveat being irony/self-fulfillment of the statement...

 

i'd have to find it, but early on in my time here, i called BS on this as well, as was pretty much banished to the hills by far more respected members that said it was possible, and i was a moron for even suggesting it's not...

so i'd tread carefully, or you're gonna need a new hill!

The animal watching has been extended, sounds like it's going to be about 3 weeks now. It nice to be able to help them out. I'll also be glad when it's done.. between doing that morning and evening and my actual job I've been doing 11 hour days haha. Speaking of which, it's nap time

 

my brothers shop had one of those big ass fans in it. with all the bay doors open, it'd get swinging. he had a picture where it actually swung itself into the roof trusses during the middle of the summer... they got it fixed, and added enough bracing to keep a toddler in one place.

 

sounds like someone's paid up on their life insurance!

 

Currently at the WFOY homestead @KRAMERICA that creek is almost up to the I-beams. As I post probably made it to 9" of rain.

I hope everyone got through the night ok. We had a day of constant rain yesterday, hadn’t had one of them in recent memory..

Morning all
My crew and I are safe, waiting to see the damage at the homestead. We were out and about since 6 pm and lost power then.(at my house also) and we’ve been jumping from call to call all nite. Buddy sent me this from the coast this is the road not the canal. As daylight hits we will see more.

Just spoke to supervisor, no work today. We now have 9.33" in the rain gauge, and it's still coming down.

 

How are the rest of the Florida, south Georgia and all the other areas being hit?
