You made me look. It’s a little better than breezy here and still raining and looks like we are going to have plenty of leaves to clean up. But not too bad and the power is on but flickering occasionally. I’m sitting here watching support your local sheriff waiting on daylight.

    Good Morning :hattip:

It's raining very hard here , last I checked for rainfall totals here in Gallatin is 4.00 inches . Watching the news and all the freeways are flooded and they're now closing down multiple freeways do to the flooding

Good morning everybody, have a great Friday. Good luck to any in Helene's path.

I’m ok down here, we were well out of the storms path. We had some rain and it got pretty breezy late last night but nothing major. It’s just getting light enough to do a walk around to see if I have any branches down.

According to my phone the rain should stop here within the hour then I’ll have to get out and have a look. I can see a couple trees down from the back porch but they weren’t near anything so it’s ok so far.

Sounds like most, if not all, in the Gulf area are ok. Glad to hear it. Clean up and power now. At least this storm was big enough that they pre-located the power crews. When Beryl came through our area, storm wasnt big enough and path was “assumed” to not come close to us, so crews were not waiting. We had to wait 2-3 days before they got to work in any numbers.

A little of this and a little of that.
Rain has stopped in my area and the wind is 15-20 mph. Lots of leaves and small branches down, but no major damage to my house, M-I-L’s house, or my rental properties…yet.

    Funny. Wrong, but funny.

    Stay safe Miss Susan.

    Hang in there Mark.

    Good thoughts to you Chuck.

Glad to see that you are OK.

This was the Pensacola Fairgrounds last night. The Escambia County Sheriff's Office (Pensacola area county) and my old agency Santa Rosa Sheriff's Office (we’re the neighboring county) have disaster response teams waiting to roll and will escort the convoy. Both counties Emergency Management has teams and equipment going also.

All the way up here in southeastern ohio.... We are getting lots of rain from it.

Not much wind, but steady rain. This is good as we were in drought state for the last month.
    Should refill the pond.

Thank you Scott I hope you come out good as well y’all were predicted to get the worst of it. Earlier this week I heard someone say Georgia and Hugo in the same sentence I sure hope you dodged that bullet :fingerscrossed: We Wore out one of our chainsaw’s in the aftermath of that thing.

Schools closed in anticipation of the wind. Already 40mph gusts. I was sleeping with a window open. Wind blew a door shut in another part of the house, scaring the dog, creating 4am panic.
Louder Than Life going on it the fairgrounds....so far not canceled.
    I'm going back to bed
