Good afternoon, fellas! Anyone running the NGK Ruthenium spark plugs? Going to change mine today and wondering if they are making sense these days still? (I read about them on page 1). Side note, my truck is just a stock TRD tune on the S/C. Any help is appreciated! PFA20240713_130055.jpg

@nudavinci64 yup, one and the same.
The company is based in China but has a US rep in Colorado.

Yep, I'm running them. I installed my S/C about 2 months ago and no issues so far. Send it, brother!

Edit: Also running the TRD tune.

This is the shop that shares the same address as the Vt link. https://www.speedyroo.com/ they said they keep S/C’s on hand for Mazdas, but it’d be 10 days for the Tacoma one.

I've been running them for a few years since shortly after they were identified and no issues. Most came gapped same can't recall spacing but I had to adjust slightly a couple. Be gentle and don't use the pry tool against the element.

    I got mine from Sparkplugs.com https://www.sparkplugs.com/ngk-95125-lfer7bhx-ruthenium-hx-plug

    Nice looking truck!

I’ve been running the ruthenium plugs for about 20k without issues.
TRD tune as well but I hope that will change sooner than later!

Also general Q on NST pulley compatibility…
I tried to search in the thread but couldn’t find the info.
NST crank and water pump pulleys, compatible with our SC setup ?
They provide any real gains or feel?

If anyone needs a snout cutter and urd press tool I have them. I would not recommend using the urd press tool for the stealth pulleys. It's not strong enough and I had to use a professional grade power steering pulley to install. That being said I would never recommend the stealth pulleys at all.

The benefits from the aluminum NST pulleys is from the weight reduction compared to the stock stuff. None of it is underdriven AFAIK.

The weight savings from the NST Crank and blower pulley is substantial and thus the benefits are there, albeit not dyno proven.
The power steering, WaterPump and alternator pulleys aren't as substantial but completes the full set.

Keep in mind that there were two styles of Alternator Pulleys.

    Hope that helps.

For sure, I understand they won’t under/over drive.
Simply weight and spinning up faster.

@Murphinator has some for sale, and I thought why not.. my wallet says not another dime but he’s got them up for a good price.

Snout cutter to loan out/borrow/sale? Or just passing it along? Figured I'd ask because I'll probably be going down from 2.85 to 2.7 sooner rather than later.

I'd sell them both 80$ shipped. Cutter comes with an extra bit

Gotcha. I'll mull it over. Still have other mods to knock out before I get to the pulley. Thanks!

Hey guys, I'm a new member to the SC family. I got the Magnuson SC installed over the weekend and ran it for the first time yesterday with @JustDSM 's tune. It's stock, but did the boost bypass valve adjustment prior to install. Otherwise, I just have the exhaust cam gear mod.

I'll be installing the AFR and boost gauge shortly. Bung is welded in, so I just need to run the lines and mount gauges. AEM gauges and Cravenspeed mount.

Never had FI before, so it's cool to hear the SC whine.

Thanks Justin @JustDSM for your help in tuning! Drives great!
