Exactly what I am saying about comparing an ADJUSTABLE coilover bottom nut vs Westcott bottom collar. It’s doing The same damn thing.

one is increasing preload by cranking the nut up. The other is just thicker also increasing preload. One fixed one adjustable.

    Comprende?

Well well look how Bilstein 5100 adjusts lift height.

oh they move the spring perch up

    Amazing

I wonder if that is the same effect as a thicker spring perch….Or maybe the same as screwing a nut up a threaded shock tube on a ADJUSTABLE coil-over???

    I bet it is

I wonder if either of these methods increase preload on the spring???

I guess we will never know ;)

but it’s not adjustable, and it’s not like an adjustable. There is a spacer included in a kit that wasn’t from the original design that adds to lift. It’s a spacer lift bro. Cool, bilsteins does something similar. So what? They don’t give you a spacer from another maker…then get mad when you call it a spacer lift.

You can keep flooding the forum with examples, but it is what it is. It changes nothing. You keep trying to justify a statement from like 50 post ago. Clearly it bothers you.

You argue exactly like Jeff wescott…and how aggressive and passionate about his products that you seem to be, makes me wonder…

…and no, I’m not going to drop what I’m doing to go out and start measuring TRD pros to prove or disprove anything. If you have pictures of the measurements, throw them up.

There are plenty of pro owners here. I’m sure if the community cared, then can take the lift measurements and compare them to Trd off road for total lift of a 2023 pro model. That’s how you’ll see the lift.

Nope it’s all about you being incorrect. All the different examples are doing the same thing.

You are like the guys that say “why pay 10k for a pro just to get suspension”

You are wrong that is the bottom line.

Good luck man, in your endeavors to MIS-inform.

Smartest thing you said all day was the 2019 and the 2020 are different

    nice job!

Maybe Toyota added a spacer to the 2023

To go along with 21-22MPG

Does anyone know if the Pro or Trail rear lift blocks come with a built in angle adjustment or do they have a separate shim? I'm guessing it'd be 1/2 or 1 degree to angle the pinion up to compensate for the lift.

No built in angle adjustment, no separate shim. The pics below is the 1" block.42CEEAF9-76B3-4C96-82DC-DAC86C5396C7.jpgF3BABD96-9C03-456A-BDD8-C11C2704950C.jpgDF3DCAD4-51CD-48B9-BA9F-3DD28E8577BD.jpg

Can anyone confirm if the TRD Pro rear lift spacer requires longer u-bolts as well? I found ones from the trd lift (90117-14011) but kinda pricey.
Also, would it be worth installing the leaf springs from the TRD PRO that the seller threw in with the pro suspension sale (with 4k miles on it) or should I just keep the current leaf oem leaf pack and just add the rear spacer block?

I am also looking for the part# for the rear TRD PRO U bolts from 2022-2023. If it's got that rear block I'm only guessing the U bolts are longer.

I want to replace my Taco 22 TRD 4x4 OR suspension with the Pro Fox Suspension. Where can I buy the entire kit or does Toyota only sell the parts individually?

From what I found out. You can only buy the parts individually. There is no "kit" available as fare as I know. What I did find out is the Pro suspension for years 2022 and 2023 is 1.5 inches taller in the front ( due to a longer front spring) and .05 inches taller in the rear due to a .05 inch block spacer. The front suspension for those 2 years also came with fancy red upper aluminum control arms.

Is there more travel in the front or rear shocks to make up for the block and spring height?

I'm in the middle of buying this. Since it is a slight lift over past Pro's I can only assume it has a little bit more travel. How much exactly? I do not know at this point.

Well I know the 19s was a 1/4 inch more travel over stock. Makes sense since it was only a 1/2 inch lift up front.

I wasn’t sure if the shock travel changed much from that on the newer ones. I guessed that 23’s were getting more lift by increasing the preload. I guess they are using longer springs though.
