I used to think Ram drivers had a thing about Tacomas, but now I realize it’s Ridgeline owners who have the biggest chip on their shoulders and feel they have something to prove. Tailgating is one way they TRY TO prove their rides are “real” trucks.

I sold my Ram to buy my Tacoma lol

I feel like it’s more corollated directly to the size of the lift on the truck rather than the brand of the truck. For instance, the guy driving the super duty with a 6” lift and 37” Chinese made mud tires will probably have a shorter fuse than your average ridgeline-driving soccer dad.

Might also be people are in too much of a hurry. When someone is on my a$$ for whatever reason, I just double the stopping distance in front of me.

Ridgeline the last one standing with a 6cyl.
since they did away with the stupid slanted bed sides it looks much better
From the rear dual exhaust also cool.
However their 6cyl has that variable valve timing crap.

    LS in a Tacoma!!!!!!

Re: thread topic, all people who engage in comparing and one-upping, regardless of vehicle brand/model, have the biggest chips. The most genuine guys I've known drove a mix of cars ... Ram, Chevy, Ford, Toyota, etc.

Personally worse pickup truck drives with most road rage are diesel Dodge pickup

Any black highland SUV also. I guess when you buy one they shove their head up their ass and give then special tires that have claws on them for will ter weather

It seems like it's actually us, the Tacoma owners with the chip on the shoulder... Why can't it tow more? Why can't it haul more, why doesn't have a diesel, V8, more tech, less tech, reliability like the good ol' days. We are the problem.

The Ridgeline is more vehicle than most Tacoma owners here would really use. And comfortable.

I don't think it is directly related to vehicle brand or type. I do think it's related more to demographics. All pick up owners seem to have a stereotype associated with the make and model they drive.

I don't think anyone else on the road actually gives a shit that you're in a Tacoma. They might care that you're in the way, driving too slow, whatever, but I doubt the type of vehicle means anything.

    That’s a thing? Where?

I used to get yelled at for driving a foreign car back in the Datsun smashing days, but now that everyone has some sort of a foreign car or other stuff from abroad it has pretty much gone away.

Sometimes big diesel dualies with trash cans for tail pipe tips like to coal me at stops, but I laugh because their fuel costs much more than mine and their fuel mileage makes mine look good!

I just hate RAM pickups with the tow mirrors out when not towing.

Ram 2500/3500s are the douchebag whip of choice around here, but the newer Silverados are rapidly gaining ground.

Hate to say it, but Tacoma guys aren’t the chillest bunch either. The Nissan Frontier guys seems pretty laid-back.
