What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I went with TVD Vinyl. As MrMobile stated, they also took me about an hour per wheel. I live in So Cal so I don't have to worry about snow but they have held out well.

 

That's why I bought lightly used ones haha. And yes, definitely better than flappy rubber ones

 

Use painters tape to get the grill outline then put it on the dashmat and cut it. Mine came out factory.

I had the DS18s, yes, liked them a lot. When I upgraded the front speakers from. kicker to Focal, they came with tweeters and I must say, I am totally enjoying the sound.

 

He heard so many good things about the Ridgeline ... or was it Cybertruck ...

 

You mean the ones that fit half-ass and tear after about 6 months? Yes they are better than that. Have had mine for 4 years with no issues. Don’t like the RekGen logos. Like everything else they have gone up in price. Pretty sure I paid less than $100.

 

What's next?

 

Well, after doing the front pads and rotors, I felt caught up on the maintenance. But then with the posts on here, past readings and my own OCD I decided I had to do the brake fluid flush as well. I guess it could be compared to taking a shower and putting your dirty underwear back on.

 

I need a truck capable of actual work, with a side of torque, so I'm taking a pretty close look at the Santa Cruz!
