I'm lazy when it comes to fall cleanup. I'll throw the mulching kit on the mower and chop em' up :anonymous:

I will put dome some lime though to counter act the acidity. Gotta ride up to the co-op to grab a bag or two.

Good morning shop crew, have a great Saturday!

I got my few downed branches cleaned up yesterday. Now we start watching the next “area of disturbed weather”.

Slow Saturday here. It’s partly sunny (for now). I went in and worked a little OT this AM, now it’s on to fire wood storage. We get these 7’x7’ pallets at work, I guess they’ll be ok. Also tweaked the new truck a smidge. image.jpg

Power is on :bananadance:but did lose some stuff in the fridge , wasn’t worth saving, think we were a day away from getting a whole house generator :spending:
Did the oil change on the portable generator and cleared the carb out. Running great keeping the boards up thanks to our little friend down south:ohsnap:

My little girl Caroline is turning 3 tomorrow, I've been doing preps for her little get together we're having today after this storm blew through. I wasn't totally aware of how much damage the storm has done up into the southeast and up through TN and KY. Sheesh I'm thinking about all those people up there without power, my kinfolk included.

We had quite a bit of concrete work done in the last few weeks, I showed a pic of my old wood deck before. Heres a couple after done. Did the front side walk, side sidewalk and back slab replacing part of the old deck.

    20240920_185347.jpg

Now I need to pressure wash where the old deck met the house and it's the old canary yellow color...
