The garden hose for sure. Tasted awful but we didn't care. Rode Big Wheels, bikes, explored in the woods, built stuff, set shit on fire, fought, played sports, caught snakes, bugs, crawdads, got beat up by the older kids. I could go on all night

Went and got some Chinese for dinner. Heading back home and had my retinas smoked by a 2nd gen with a bull bar with offroad lights on it and a light bar mounted below it all turned on in addition to the head lights and factory fogs! Why? Why FFS do you need all that in a residential area? I flashed my brights at him. But that mouth breather probably thought I was giving him the "I like your Taco" flash.

Heh, as a kid I would go to my grandparents a lot. Mom worked late so gma would always make sure I showered before I went home. I always remember her saying "wash your ass!"

Solid advice right into adulthood. Along with having clean underwear.

It sounds comical now, but you're actually right. Working in a place with a bunch of people it's amazing the people who do not know how to properly care for themselves like that is mind boggling. I know some days I can get pretty funky in the summer, but these people ugh o_O

Yup. I see it daily in the course of my travels.

That and what's up with men under 40 not wearing real pants?? Everyone is wearing what appear to be pajama bottoms.

Nah, I'm not one of those Millennials/GenZ that do that crap. I wear my CatII arch flash work pants everywhere. They're more comfy than jeans. I threw away all but one pair of jeans :anonymous:

Clean underwear was/is a must! Come home when the streetlights on, never tell a lie, be grateful for what you have, and take care of your stuff or you won’t have anything. Please and thank you, open the door for women and old folks, and never cheat, you lose, you lose and don’t be an asshole in your face winner. :hattip: Morning stockers

I work at the university. I’m actually working in a state department and don’t have much to do with the university.

    Bare tank strap wore through?
Replaced the tank on the Nova couple years back and one of the strap cushions was worn down pretty good.

Parachute pants. Popular or not that was something I never dabbled in.
