Im starting to realize just how poor we were.

My dad bought a house in like '76 for $16k....
When my mom died a few years ago that house still wasn't paid off cause she spent most of her life borrowing money against it. At least....thats all I can figure out.

I remember (for whatever reason) that a home loan back then was 16-17%.

Its actually FDE (flat dark earth) which is tan, my phone made it look yellow.

Its an IWI Masada, the gun next to it is an IWI Masada Slim. Israel guns, both 9mm.

I had a strange childhood. My parents were well off in the early 80s and on the rocks in the early 90s. Vehicles got seized and houses foreclosed partially due to a rather large miscommunication with the tax man. I hear that some of our furniture and art can still be seen in various offices of divorce firms downtown.

Lots of toys as a kid, then Sam's choice clothes in high school.
