If anyone is interested, I've been messing with this for a while. The seat popping when going around corners, shifting weight, position etc. I thought it had something to do with the lumbar support after taking the seat apart, does not seem to be the case on mine. I found the active headrest hardware (top and bottom mechanisms with cable between the two) to be causing it. For the most part, the bottom component that has the "paddle", has two steel "fins" on the bottom, that scrape and pop back and forth on a metal rod at the bottom of the seat. I stuffed a piece of foam in between the fins and the metal rod, and the noise and popping stopped for a couple of days until it cut through the foam. My next step is to do some metal bending or grinding (or finding something strong enough to that it will not cut through). I am also thinking of just ripping the active headrest stuff out because mine is shot and no longer works after 214,000 miles (only real complaint I've had with this truck). There might be a way to tighten up the cable but have not figured that out yet. If anyone is interested I can try to post a couple of pictures.

Interested. This has been driving me nuts for years. I thought it was just me. Tried to get the dealership to deal with this while I was still in warranty but they could not find any issues with the seat.
