It's been dry and I'm not going to Tigerton, so tomorrow I might take a ride out and see where I got stuck.
Then keep going if I can.
If not, I think there's another way to catch the trail from a different cty hwy.
There's a nice stretch that goes through the woods along the north side of Lake Eau Claire.
    Northeast of Augusta.

Well, while the rest are out having fun I figured it a good time to redo the positive battery terminal.
Open spot is for compressor main.

Edit: Had to do the 'I need more f'n length on the power wire mod'.
    If that's a thing.
Drilled a hole further back in the dust cover.

    More eye candy.
Driverside bed cubby is turning into an electrical panel.
    Thanks @Stoney Ranger

That's those pretty, little colorful things, right? :blahblah:

I didn't use any on the (2) winch lines.
The compr. line will have 3. (In the image right above your post.)
One for the main. (under hood)
    One for the compressor.
    One for the multi-panel.
    (rear cubby)

A ginormous cluster of trees fell, blocking the path to where I had gotten stuck in spring.
It was a sign from the O.R. Gods to let that one go.

My son got more trail time and he got to experience some tight and scratchy....I let him drive several times today while I just kicked back and ate Funyuns.

We did manage to find our way to the backside of the lake.
The location marker is where we got stuck earlier this spring.
Blue was today coming in from another direction. We spent 4 hrs putting around in there trying to connect the trail.Screenshot_20240928_205933_Gaia GPS.jpg
Came to another blockage where a beaver had been damming up a tiny spring for what appeared to be years of buildup.20240928_144709.jpg
A steep grade (to the left with a deep racine, separates the trail.20240928_144639.jpg
Probably doable with a front winch, but it looks like one wrong move could break that dam free and send thousands of gallons of stagnant backwater flooding your yota.

Beaver damns need to be blown up and lit on fire.

Super behind on this thread, but this little butane bugger is great for shrinking duty. It comes with a tip for soldering, and when you taje it off, the end becomes a flameless heat shrinker. Very easy to get the heat where you need it without melting everything around it. Perfect for using inside the vehicle too as long as long as you’re careful.
