Temp knob messing up

The last week or so my temp knob has jumped around while I'm adjusting it. For example, if it is set to 68 and I attempt to turn it to the right to go up to 72, it will jump back to 60. Anyone experience this issue?

 

Is this issue on only the driver side or also the passenger side?

You aren't accidently pressing A/C or Sync or anything else in the process, right?

 

Nope just turning the drivers side knob. I always leave it in sync mode though.

 

Un-sync and try the passenger knob. If the pass one works, I’d suspect faulty knob, which will suck because I don’t think you’ll be able to find that individually. It’ll be the entire panel
