Just a RAM doing RAM things. Maybe his lady is riding with him or her man is riding shotgun. Either way, I’m sure they a terrible driver. Tacoma drivers usually suck too if I’m being honest.

When I was a broke kid my ranger looked like that for a couple months after I sheered a body mount..

Maybe his wife complained about the climbing-in height so he removed the passenger-side springs.

When a Ranger looks like that, you think “Hell yeah, that thing is still going”. When a RAM looks like that, you think “Why is that price of shit still on the road?” RAM airbags go off randomly for no reason and everything just falls apart. Anyone who buys a RAM tend to make other questionable decisions in life.

Im laughing at this because there is an odd amount of cross polination between Tacoma and RAM owners.

Like when a guy has a girlfriend so boring they dive headlong into red-flagged hot mess to make up for it.

Inverted how? The Taco was the boring one in my example, and the RAM is the one more likely to show up with a random $10k deep credit card bill in your name.

Man of steel switched to a RAM after lemon law-ing his 3rd gen... I guess if both options are gonna be unreliable might as well have some fun with it.

I believe those Rams have coil springs in the back. Probably a broken coil.
What was the reason for lemon law? I recall he had a really nice audio build thread.

Ive been in that and its nice. I cant blame him for being seduced by the dark side.

He had an incessant leak of some variety* that the dealer couldnt fix no matter how many times he took it in. It was a sweet audio build for sure.

I coulda swore it was the rear main. :notsure:

After talking to him about it I remember getting the distinct impression that Big Two monkey fucked the repairs and damaged something the first time in, then did a bunch of half assed repairs using progressively bigger boogers of RTV. :jerkoff:

Any recommendations for a roof rack?

My dual cab is feeling more and more like a single cab with the kiddos taking over the back

Depends on the specifics of your needs.

There's classic cross bars. Theyre not instagram-able but they're light and have a lot of accessories support to tailor them to your needs. You can add a basket or aerobox, or specific mounts if you have canoes/kayaks/bikes etc.

Prinsu-style 8020 racks are certainly what the cool kids like these days, but I'd only consider them for mounting a lot of miscelanous specific accessories. (Maxtrax, Rotopax, antenna, box or two for some stuff, etc).

And then you have basket racks like from GOBI and ARB. Bridging flexibility with purpose. Get the 'gram points but have something that can be used for various situations.

I installed the cross bars for my sister's 2013 double cab, it's pretty straight forward. I think it was like a 30 minutes process.

Since half of you are closer than most of the Utah BS threat will anyone else be going to Trail Hero? We went in for the kick off party tonight and got our pass for the 4 days we'll be there.

Last time I was in Sand Hollow with @time623 my phone and GMRS radio were bouncing all over the place but this time that shouldn't be a problem
    IMG_20240930_170439.jpg
Admittedly I may have gone a little on the expensive side for the solution but I've had many cheap phone mounts over the years and they always seemed to disappoint when I needed most and I've been wanting to try this TEQ Offroad dash mount for a while and it seems to fit perfectly with the RAM mount system
