im sure there's someone else here that can help if you dont feel comfortable doing it yourself. its pretty easy and shouldn't take more than an hour to install these.

Yeah, 2nd bat is for the cooler. I had planned to get a solar panel, but a 2nd battery seems a 'lil more convenient. I can always get a solar panel later.

Damn man, that cut deep

It's a drawer system for the 80, when I eventually take delivery of it. Having had the DIY platform in there for 3 years, it'll be a nice upgrade...especially since I plan on living out of it for a month or so.

Edit: forgot to add a pic, d'oh!

Just need to run a short wire from the fuse block (mounted by the brake fluid res) to the battery and there'll be power for the compressor.

Got a little close to the edge with the drill. (sand and dry mud were falling in my face) I need to route the wall out a little so I can get the cable gland to sit flush.
I put the long part on the inside so the cable doesn't hang too low on the exterior.

20240930_232651.jpg I'll add to the above with an underneath shot looking up at rear d.s. cubby.
on the left is tail light and rear diff breather.
I was going to go through the side, like the winch cable, but the drain hole was already there so I figured I'll just make it bigger.

I grew up in the "please allow 3-6 weeks for delivery" era. I ordered this Sunday night and it shows up 2 days later.

    Remember Cash On Delivery?

    So refresh my memory.
You want to plug that into the 12v multi-panel. (w/ the usb and what have you).
Or you wanted to run a completely separate line for the fridge off the fuse box.

Getting bored of my wiring posts yet?
    Well here's another.
This part I'm a bit indecisive.
I'm thinking all hope is lost for trying to squeeze a compressor in with all that schmidt.
    20241001_155328.jpg
Need to decide how I want to mount everything.
Outlets inside or outlets in the door?.....
    20241001_155911.jpg
They'll both fit in the door.
