Definitely a bit of nostalgia but also boxy stuff ages really well in its own weird way.

Two things to keep an eye on with GX:

    1) Later years call for premium. Early years are fine with regular. Nobody agrees on whether the later years actually need premium, but the owners manual calls for it.
    2) The Mark Levinson/touchscreen nav means integrated HVAC controls so it's much harder to replace the factory head unit.

I guess I don't remember the shell being on it from the last photos you posted. What are you moving to now?

Oh I just took the tent and rack off and then unbolted all of the bed slide stuff to take it out as well. It's getting bedlined tomorrow. Then all of that going back on. But it'll still probably be temporary, because I intend to build a smol living quarters on the back

Yeah but he would never find that guy cuz he gets locked in by the first thing that sounds less/more serious and then researches around the problem rather than towards it

This is a common theme with new guys. They learn one thing about hvac then get so fixated on that possibility being the issue the forget to check anything else

Yeah it's kinda funny honestly, they're all doing nearly the same little fixes to the god awful stock trans tune and they edit the DBW pedal acceleration variables. But like what else is in an NA van motor stock... there can't be much else to pick up under the curve haha

    And that's what I'm seeing!

But the constant shelling out of hundreds of dollars all because "I got an AGM battery LoLs" and other little things

Think what blew my mind was how one company bought out another, and said fuck your lifetime updates or revisions

    Big oof

I forgot how to use the Hole Wizard in SolidWorks... lol I added way too much reference geometry. Oh well guess I can save time now

Definitely, was preparing to manually countersink these three holes, then I remembered there was a checkbox for custom countersink geometry somewhere in the wizard (since the bolts I picked are non standard and not built into the list)

I'd like to learn SolidWorks. Or any 3D software for that matter. Anyone have a recommendation on a good Starter>Intermediate course? Not opposed to paying for it either.
