What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I found something that looks a little like a horn or a flat speaker on the passenger side about a foot forward of the firewall very close to the fender. Don't really feel like subjecting myself to more irritating beeps...

 

only time I've seen this accomplished with push button start you have to give up your spare key and install it in the remote start box. Is this the case with the N2?

Thanks! I got a sweet deal on them, just had to drive 160 miles to get them.
I got rid of the flares years ago, they served they're purpose well. I figured Sr5 and Sr trim don't have them, I don't need them. I prefer the flare less look. The holes I just live with.

This is a much better and not hacked way to do it.

 

I get it: using another remote start product. I thought you'd found some magic with the factory remote start. For the twice a year I remember to use it, I'm good with how it works. Thanks for the answers!

 

Yup. The N2 is a good option for me, since I'm one of the lucky ones that had the OEM remote start stop working once the free year of the Toyota app that came with the truck expired. So dumb. That said, the shut off issue pissed me off so much that I never really used it anyway, but this is on my list to grab once I have free funds from my MK3 Supra project (i.e. never).

 

After doing my oil change I sent a sample to Blackstone Laboratories for analysis. The results just came back and they look pretty good. I was 11 miles short of having 11,000 miles on the oil.

 

Gas tank skid and exhaust cutback.

 

It'll ride stiffer than a lower sitting. Couldn't tell you exactly. Here's a thread that might offer some help.

Different buzzer.

 

I installed one of those window switches for the driver's door that turns all 4 windows into auto up and auto down. The illumination color isn't exactly the same as the factory one but functionally it's been fine.

I found that little buzzer !!! Passenger side in front of the battery.
