It actually stayed dry here today, second day in a row that we were supposed to get rain but didn't. I think Helene may finally be running out of steam.

I really feel for the folks in North Carolina. I was flooded out by Agnes in 1972, lucky enough to be on the second floor of a 2-story apartment building but still surrounded by one heck of a mess. I've done a lot of driving on the mountain roads of western NC and it just breaks my heart to think that some of the little towns I drove through are gone. Altogether.

I agree with the NC statement. I just came home from there last Monday. We actually ate lunch that Sunday in Erwin, TN and now a lot of that small town is gone.

Good morning all. Rode the bike to work this morning, roads were damp or even wet in spots but the bike is still hogged up from vacation anyway. Chance of showers later today but I'm risking it. Was starting to suffer from withdrawal symptoms......:pccoffee:

Good morning Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.
So my cousin and her husband just moved to Asheville last month and now they are stuck. Looks like they will be moving back to jersey now. Sucks they left jersey cuz they couldn't afford it anymore. And now they are stuck in a town with no exit.

Got the grass cut, patchy but getting better, grew some from all the rain, now has a green color. Probably will need cut in a few days. Deer are coming up to my porch and eating the corn from the Halloween stocks! They are bold.

Good morning Pennsylvania and surrounding areas fair 60° this morning with some light rain. Supposed to clear up and get into the mid 70s today. Tomorrow they are calling for a high of 78. No I'm done with that weather bring on the cold

Sore and beat up but okay.

This is the friend with over 1.8 million miles on motorcycles, former road racer for Moto Guzzi who rides every day and has documented a daily riding streak that extended over 21 years without missing a day. He rode to Ohio with me in July for Vintage Motorcycle Days and is probably one of the best, if not, the best rider I know.

@BkerChuck the guy i bought my cbr600rr off of back in 03 used to be a pro racer for world sbk. Also made front page of one of the motorcycle magazines back in the day taking his honda gold wing off the ground going down the hills of San Francisco fucker took that big bike like 15ft off the ground. And when I thought he was nuts I rode with his younger brother for a couple years first person I've rode with that had a turbod cbr1000rr same year as my cbr1000rr 2004. Dude rode with slicks on the street. The younger brother also a pro racer back in the early 90s.

Thanks to the guy the i bought the cbr600rr he was the one that taught me how to work on my own bike.
