its odd to see someone use the left shoulder while being in the passing lane. no reason to side swipe someone thou unless it was accidental and they didnt know but who knows anymore.... people be a bit crazy these days.

 

I'm glad that he's ok. I hope somebody caught it on a dash cam or something so the LEOs can track down the jerk that hit him.

Glad he’s OK! That really sucks. It was probably intentional, too.

 

Blaine indicated there was heavy traffic, right lane was full to the point where he couldn't get over yet, and this guy pretty much ran right up his ass and was pushing to get him to go even faster. Blaine generally rides 7-8 over posted and had been passing traffic in the adjacent right lane when this took place. Truck apparently lost patience and went over to the outside shoulder and passed him then immediately pulled in front of him. He said he's not sure it was intentional but can't discount that possibility either. He went down but thankfully surrounding traffic didn't hit him and in fact several vehicles pulled over and rendered aid.

He's pissed that this BMW had only about 50k miles and had never even been dropped before so it now has "character" it didn't have before.

 

Sounds like one of those left lane vigilantes that drive recklessly and tailgate everyone they encounter. Glad no serious injuries! It's bad enough people don't see motorcyclists, but if he purposely cut him off there's no excuse for that
