Mines hopefully temporary, its on unpainted mild steel.

Its forever, I havent painted my bed bars or any of the brackets ive made for electrical stuff

That chin thing came off and I ran it over. Then i put it back on with about a dozen self tappers. Can barely see it but I guess I never took a better photo

 

The plastic on that failed like... immediately for mine hahaha

 

It only has to make it off the lot to meet EPA "as sold" requirements for mileage.

 

New tires ordered, went with the same thing cause I have no time to do all the 35 stuff.

 

PSA, make sure your AC drain doesnt drip on your frame. This is Ron Jeremys gx470, you can see the rest of the frame is really clean.

Yup, takes 15 min max and avoid this. Granted this is a ~2007 lexus so its had its AC on for 15 years

 

Yeahhhhhhh I've been sitting on the "plan" to do a diff breather and AC drain route for....however long I've had the truck. :|

 

My ac is taken care of but I still have a bag of parts for the diff breather ready to go on, for 3 years now. Planning on doing it when I do the brake lines pre 63

 

I’m still planing to buy the stuff, then I’ll move onto planing to do it.

The diff breather kit has been on my work bench since March, now I'm scrambling to get things done before AOAA

 

Depending on if the 4runner is the same as the GX I may have everything for the AC drain for you

 

What parts are they for the GX?

 

I was planning on it. I still am, but I was, too.

This implies I have the things for it - both diff breather and AC.

I should do it soon, though, before I give it to Jason for woolwax this year
Conveniently I think I can run it up to the driver brake light, the one I have to take out and un-squeak.




I know this is bananaland early to ask - what's the spring look like for trips? Related to all of the above - my sliders have to come down for a respray. I am thinking I might do that before I go to Jason and just leave them off for the winter.
