    That bash guard isn't really going to do much as far as protection goes. It will make the drain plug protector hang up less but not by a ton. I have absolutely creamed my axle many times in the area they're talking about reinforcing and have never had an issue.

    With the clearance thing I have heard a lot of people are removing their 1'' diff drop or never installed one because of the lost in clearance and been perfectly fine. Thoughts?

    (For whatever reason BAMF never seems to post product weights on their website.)

    No clue, but I don't remember it being particularly heavy when I installed it.

    Diff drops are for the front diff, not the rear. For the rear, you'll lose something like 3/8" of clearance with the BAMF skid, but you're gaining most of that back in protection. However, if you're not doing rock crawling, I don't think there's any reason to run one.

    Ik there for the front I have on installed I saw they did more harm then good. As in they don't do much and only lower ground clearance I'm wondering if I should uninstall it.
