In the collective experience for the LCA, which goes first, the bushings or the ball joints.
This would be on one that's only street driven. And from all i have read here the lower ball joint goes first since the upper is more or less just an idler arm.

Don't need them yet but decided to pick up a set of the aftermarket (china) made LCA cam bolts. Not a metalurgical expert but they seem perfectly adequate and the cams are brazed or something to the bolts etc so no risk of the flat on the moog/AC delco etc cams rounding out. Being that they are the same price as the ones on Rock Auto and 1/4 the price of OEM i am willing to give them a try when it comes time... And the part number on the bag is the same as the Toyota part # although that means nothing at all....
The general consensus is that the OEM design is better than what rock auto offers. In this case these at least duplicate that and is the reason i would choose these.

If you live anywhere near the rust belt, coat the shanks of those bad boys with waterproof grease or Never Seize.

That's a given for sure. Was going to use some of my super tacky permatex purple brake lube when the time comes.

    Too few to list.
When I installed UCA’s, I took the cam bolts and shanks off the LCA and greased them since I was going to get an alignment anyway.

    Consider yourself blessed.
Up here in Toronto where the weight of salt they use exceeds the weight of snow that falls I will like many never get those bolts off without the use of a sawzall...:annoyed:

Happened to our 4runner since it’s up in the mountains but at 220K+ miles, those LCA served its purpose so didn’t mind paying for new ones after 14 years.

Same here. 10 years on originals and alignment has held. Holding on to these until its time to replace the LCA's anyway so cutting the old ones off is just the way it goes.

Are these all the part numbers needed to do both LCA's?

If you look at the photo there is a "sleeve" portion of the bigger bolt. Its identical to design of toyota part

The bottom two parts make up the bolt/sleeve. The large diameter sleeve fits over the lower bolt.

Haven't installed. Just slowing collecting parts for the eventual need. And at the rate I am putting on miles could be a very long time indeed.

Skip those baby single shock TC LCAs, and get dual shock TC LCAs. And add Bison stop cams too

With all that money in the suspension, why haven't you upgraded the brakes?
