Not sure, I've got a regular key so it can't yell at me for leaving a fob behind. I did pay for a one month subscription to Carista when I first got my truck so I could shut the seat belt warning off. The door one is a but annoying but I can live with it rather than lose my blinker sound. Glad you mentioned the blinker part, I didn't know about that.

I’ve got some electrical gremlins I have to work through before I can test it at night.

It was a $35 light bar I got from eBay. I got it as a placeholder till I can get a better light bar. It took some effort to get it mounted to the Prinsu light bar mounts. The screws going into the light to mount it are really small and may not hold up in the long run. The small screws are almost the same size as shown in the picture.

I’ll update after I’ve been able to use it at night.

Do you have/can you take a pic? Preferably showing both light colors.
Really interested in doing this but really value uniform interior lighting.

I haven't. I can do it tonight, the truck is at home and I'm at work. The color difference bugs me (as does the color difference between the my lightbar button and the rest of the buttons around it) but it's something I'm willing to deal with. I may fool with it to see if there's a way to switch the stock lighting into the new switch housing.

Thank you! Whenever I get in the truck, I lower all of the windows for a few seconds to vent out the heat. Since adopting the habit of doing this almost every time, the fronts are so much more convenient with the auto feature.

One of my favorite features of my 05 Accord and my wife's 18 Civic is if you press the unlock button on the fob twice then long hold it on the third press it will roll the windows down until you release the button. You can put them all the way down or just a little bit. Wish the Taco had that.

I was going to go with one of those but ultimately decided on a Diode Dynamics Stage Series 42

Yup. Wife’s Acura does the same. Pretty great feature. Not sure if it’s a standard Honda thing or just on some trim levels but I sure with I had it on the truck

Most brands do this. Honda, Nissan, and it seems Ford and Chevy do too.

Even though it's got every option except Navi I was surprised to find out my 20 year old Accord did.

I used an appropriate length of airhose (w/ rubber capped QDs) to keep the front flap tucked in between the bed and cab. Now I have an extra section of hose if I need to reach a bit farther from my on-board compressor.

I also keep two lengths of 1/2" PVC pipe with male snaps attached, at proper intervals, to rollup the sides neat & clean.
I know I took photos when I installed the snaps to the pipe (6 yrs ago) but damn if I can find them now.

This photo shows the white pipe, just above the shovel on the left side. And on the right too. The pipe rests very neatly between the topper canvas and framework. Absolutely no rubbing on topper or framework, no loss or falling out, and it has come in handy once or twice to retrieve something deep in the bed so I didn't have to crawl up in there. (the photo was taken to show the fit side-to-side of a 50g Rugged tub)

Oh I like that. Those pvc pipes will be next. Great idea!

You can buy the male end of the snaps -with wee screws- right from SoftTopper. (At least you used to be able to. I haven't looked in a while.)

Be sure to put smooth rounded caps on the pipe-ends where those ends would touch the canvas (i.e. front & rear Topper panels).

Purchased Toyota Certified, with Vijay bumpers, additional lights, and Falken Wildpeaks on Fuel rims. Prev owner apparently painted the grill.
I dunno what we are talking about, but that has never stopped me from giving my opinion before. I made a tent and used screw in snaps from Seattle Fabrics in my build. I don't know what size would be compatible - but I HIGHLY doubt soft-toppers are using proprietary snaps.

No, never meant to imply they used proprietary snaps. Simply that they carry the proper size, which saves one from having to search around.
Giving your opinion was a bonus this time - you provided one more link for items we can make use of. That alone make it a worthy post.

Does anyone have the thread # for the fix to the Sway bar hitting coilover? Upon inspection, I have a little of that going on I think it only occurs during full turn to right stop, but I'm thinking it might be better that it is fixed. TIA.20241003_135007.jpg 20241003_135031.jpg
