I'm 6'0" and I prefer the carlike seating position. Step out of a Camry and into a Tacoma, and your body position should be the same. The high floor is for ground clearance and breakover angle off-road.

If you don't like it, sell the Tacoma and buy something thaty more of a pavement princess. You'll typically be able to sell it for as much or more than you paid.

Id like to get me a gladiator rubicon with factory 4.88s 4:1 rocktrac tc and 100:1 overall in 4lo 1st gear. I love how the seating position is way up high like a ram cummins.

 

Do it & sell the Taco to someone that will like it.

I just put my rekgens on today. Hopefully they will slowdown the amount of paint chips.

 

can you tell if they blow back any when going down the highway like the gen 1 oem 4x4 flaps did? Thats what im looking for.

 

They have some flex but aren't going flex that much. There not like old school rubber flaps. Some flex if you went over something OffRoad or a big chunk of ice.

 

So I assume you've already made an appointment to sell / trade in your Tacoma?
