2013 Tacoma Repair Help

    I brought my Tacoma to a mechanic because my power door locks aren’t working. He told me it’s this part and he can only order one directly from Toyota and the cost would be around $1200. So does that seem fair or is this something I should be able to replace on my own with very little technical knowledge? Seems kinda like a simple plug and play type of job.

    That sure looks like a lot of circuitry and harness connection for just PL. Anything else not working too?

    @Dm93 might have a clue about the part.

    If you know where it's located in the vehicle and a PN, I'd be junk yard shopping.

    Is that the Body ECU Driver's Side Junction Box?
    That looks like water damage, need to figure out where the water came from before replacing the ECU.

    A used part would most likely be much cheaper than new.

    Bilsteins 5100's all 4 corners 1 inch rear spacer
    Before you buy another, un plug it and take it out and clean/scrub that up with an old tooth brush and alcohol then dry with compressed air, u may be able to save it if it's not burned up.
