    Hello

I noticed some squeaking coming from the left rear portion of my 2012 Tacoma Access Cab 4x4. I looked under and had my buddy move the truck up and down. It sounds like there is a squeaking sound (similar to rubbing rubber on rubber) almost above where the fuel tank is. I attached a photo below pointing to where I believe the squeaking is coming from. Any ideas as to where the squeaking could be coming from?

    thanks

Make sure your spare tire is tight enough to the bed.

Are you sure it's not coming from the left springs? Or maybe the bed bolts?

Springs aren’t squeaking, I haven’t checked the bed bolts yet.

I believe OP tightened his spare and never returned...

I just saw this oost and it saved me a whooole bunch of heartache. I had shaken the truck and heard the loose bed and...something else . The loose bed is always attributed to the 2010s tacos BUT after reading this thread I took care to notice the spare when i rocked it and VOILA! Jburner you are a scholar and a gentleman!

    THANKS!

P.s.: I'M going to two out of town concerts soon and I dont need to worry about this new noise because i fixed it!
