Truck body style is much less trustworthy than SUV body style.

Not in terms of reliability, but IU'm tired of having all my stuff exposed to the elements or stolen from the back. It was also miserable sleeping back there in Colorado.

    Gonna bend your own?

I've never tried it (never had to) but plenty of people here have

Maybe @Wulf can suggest a good tool for bending some new hard lines?

I just think its the reasoning behind it, not necessarily the LC itself. I'm all for making poor financial decisions if that's really just what you want and you know its not ideal. I do it all the time. But gambling on a different old truck because your tired of old truck problems just doesn't make any sense imo.

No one can really argue against: "I'm tired of pickup trucks, I just want an SUV, I know this is going to cost me a lot but thats just what I want"

But that has never been the argument, the argument you've put forward is "This truck is costing me way too much, I'm tired of putting money into this truck, and I'm going to trade it for something just as old and even higher mileage"

Well it is the former too. And I just don’t trust this truck after all the trouble it’s given me, although that’s probably irrational.

I got with the owners about the tires and they said the tire shop took measurements and recommended the Nittos based on the current wear of the front Yokos. So they should be ok for a little while; I just wouldn’t wanna drive it forever like that.

Look, all joking aside, I think this thing is a solid buy at 7500, given the cost of all the recent work it’s had done to it.

I feel like that isn't happening with those for whatever reason. Time will tell I guess.
Yeah it was such a strange take I was surprised he actually said it. Maybe its some backhanded/desperate way of attempting to make the hybrid C63 seem appealing, but I don't know how.

I bet you didn't even take my advice yesterday on the inspection part or the "need time to sit on it" so they can come back with a lower offer
