I have a 2008 Tacoma TRD off road double cab 4x4.
I am trying to remove the cover to get to the drain plug to change the front differential oil but the bolts are stuck.

I have used PB with no luck.
Any suggestions on what I can do? I don't want to break or strip the head

Get a MAP gas torch at your local Home Depot/Lowes etc.

Open/remove the fill plug first. If you drain first without being able to remove the fill plug you have a problem.

Thanks I realized that but before I can get to the fill/drain plug there is a cover I need to remove that has 6 bolts. That's th bolts that are stuck.

    Yeah.
I think OP is just trying to get the skid plate off (yep, he just chimed in).

A MAP gas torch is a good suggestion, available at most home improvement stores. There's also a freeze spray you can get at auto parts stores that you can alternate with if just the heat doesn't do it.

Thank you. Yes, it's the skid plate I can't get off. First time doing this. I wasn't familiar with the name. I was trying not to spend alot on a torch. Was.hoping for another solution.

If you are struggling to get the skid plate bolts off, boy oh boy you're going to be in for it with the drain and fill plug on the front diff. LOL.

You will save money even if you buy tools. Tools can be used again.

And you are using the correct size 6 point socket, right ?

And of course we must ask. If the skid plate is that bad, would the frame even pass inspection? Not a state thing, but by someone who knows where to hammer, probe and even borescope

How long did you let the PB sit until you tried? Overnight?

Also try WD40, with that and a hammer I was unable to unfreeze sliding axles on a 45 ft. semi container chassis. Soak. hammer on the heads. repeat. Also can you access/see the threads on the upper side? Wire brush them and soak from above to.

Breaker bar on 6 pt socket. You will need that in your DIY toolbox anyway.

    Bravo for going at it!

Used PB a few hours ago. I can't see or
    access the threads.

    Yeah.
See if you can get some PB over the top to soak down through the threads, don't be stingy with it. Wait overnight My PB bottle has a long tube. Smack the bolts with a hammer, not so hard to deform them, though. If that doesn't do it, you either have to drill them out or use a torch.
