I wasn’t a big fan of the all black trim pieces under the headlights so I got these overlays. I couldn’t get them in white so I got silver and painted to match. I really like the look much more now.IMG_1008.jpg IMG_0022.jpg

the quality and price point can't be beat. installation was easy and the rack was designed very well, no additional wind noise added. the wedge wind screen design omits the need for the rubber grommet and allows for the top half to be removable for future light bar installation. i think the aesthetic matches the truck well, looks like the kuat ibex rack and the kilo were made for each other.

I am far from an expert, I’m a one YouTube and wing it kind of guy. Made some mistakes along the way (like covering the holes and having to stab through them) but overall this door now has 0 rattle compared to my passenger which I haven’t touched yet. The bass is also much deeper and is very easy to hear compared to the right side. (Waiting on Amazon to deliver more material)

Hopefully this and the beatsonic amp will produce a better audio experience.

More than I need but still not enough.
Decided to go out exploring after work today. Found some trails using OnX and it was a good time. Mostly very well maintained gravel roads but I did find this down a little off shoot. Still trying to find something nearby that actually requires me to put it 4x4. IMG_6214.jpg IMG_6213.jpg

Oversized bottle holder. I copied the idea of using a rock climbing chalk bag I had in my Gen 3 by repurposing this pouch I had in a backpack. It has a molle system which works awesome on that panel! There are many similar options available on Amazon. That's a 40oz bottle in there and it is sturdy.

I find the app remarkable on the big screen using Carplay.

Just finished sound deadening all 4 doors. very happy with the results for the price. 40 on the JBL actually has some bang to it now. Actually feel like the beatsonic mini amp will drive to much and blow them now. Find out when it arrives next week..

Also funny story. I took the rear door panel off and for some reason put it back on without even thinking of attaching the door/lock cables. So i had the door shut with no way to open it. Luckily i was able to get most of the rear panel off from inside the truck and snake my hand in enough to latch the cables.

Those are probably just Amazon resellers of the AliExpress ones that are like $180-200. I don't know how long the lights would last at that price.

I’d rather pay a little more and get it quicker. I’ve never had problems with Chinese knock off light bars in the past. In 5 years it’s probably on for an accumulative 3 hours for me.

    Really sucks...
The tacomas look great but me personally would take stock sr5 wheels in solid black over sport or offroad wheels...
Other opinions may differ, but I feel they look the best when it comes to a stock, clean, non busy wheel...
