My truck: 2023 Trd OR 4 door long bed. Currently stock on 265's with a trd pro skid plate. Does pretty great as is but ready to build it.

Intended use is as a daily driver and overland/ camping rig. I live in La Paz, Baja and do a lot of beach driving in soft sand, washboard and random dirt roads in not great condition. I fish, surf, camp, dive etc. I wont be rock crawling at all but maybe would encounter some random rocks from time to time.

I often tow a 25' panga on a dual axle trailer. Very light total weight including trailer is about 3k lbs.

I want the truck to drive nice on road as I drive from San Diego to La Paz several times per year for business. I want to maintain range. I want to not lose a bead airing down to 10psi or below to navigate deep sand beaches in remote baja locations. I want to be comfortable on long washboard roads and be able to access most roads.

    Build plan:

    1) Tune m1 camper
    2) Bilstein 8112 dsc+/ 8100 bypass (only have front trd pro skid no bumper) 1" front lift
    3) Archive hammer hangers
    4) Archive add a leaf 1" rear lift
    5) Ko3's 265/70r17 Method bead grip 705's
    6) stock ucas or accutune ucas ( not sure)
    7) Airbags for towing(Not sure how they will interplay with the shocks when at 0)
    8) Overland torque tune
    9) Sliders

    Rationale:
    1) This camper is just the best I could find. Going to be about 450lbs without gear but according to Tune, most of the weight is forward of the rear axle. It's not a dedicated pure camper I also use it as truck so not a ton of fixed gear in bed at all times.

    2) These seem to be some, if not the best performers on the market. I like the ability to adjust. Not sure what coil spring weight is on the stock application and given some weight from the trd pro skid and some weight from the camper what to go with.

    3) An important upgrade to any suspension so this is a no brainer

    4) The Archive AAL will yield me a 1" rear lift with 500lbs on the rear axle. This is about what I'm expecting. Bilstein recommends no more than 1.5" inches of lift for either the 8112's or 8100's. I will maintain factory rake.

    5) I can fit a spare under truck still which I need and maintain range. Aesthetics are at the bottom of my concerns and performance at the top. Method bead grips from what I can see will give me sub 10psi access with confidence on the beach.

    6) Not sure I need to upgrade UCA's if i'm only doing 1" front and rear.

    7) For towing applications only. Not sure if these will affect ride quality when not in use.

    8) To help correct the gen 3 tuning issues

    9) Just in case

    Thanks for any advise.

    No onboard air?
Airing down to 10 psi or less, I’d maybe add an air sysytem.

Need Fluid Film to protect frame from rust, and corrosion, since you driving in soft sand, whatevers. For OTT, you talk with tuner about settings.

I have a Viair portable but adding onboard and keeping portable as a redundant backup is a good idea. Thanks

I'll look into this. I wash the undercarriage with fresh every time I go and spray the frame with T9 a couple times a year but this may be a better option.
