Comes with a ho?

 

I had one from the cordless ratchet I bought a little while ago which came with a 2.5 HO battery.
I bought another 2.5 HO today for the impact.

Broke out the new M12 circular saw along with the new M12 fuel impact driver and hammer drill replacing my brushed pair that was probably 6-7 years old. Got 4 Adirondack chairs built and the new saw was really nice to use. Was able to make the HO 5.0 batt last the whole job. Also picked up the M12 spot blower with the 2 battery deal they had going. Really liking the HO 5.0 batteries so far and can really tell the difference compared to the half dozen 4.0XC’s I have.

Included pics was a little job requiring some existing deck boards cut away to reinforce a rotted floor joist and that little saw was absolutely perfect. One of the best purchases I have made in a while.

Made a holster for my compact to ride on my QH and chain boxes

Went and got a 5.0 battery today

 

I need some M18 battery's bad. Anybody seeing any decent deals?

 

What size battery do you want?

 

I'd like to have 8 or 12 ah's but I would be fine with the 5 or 6 ah ones. I run a sawzall, the wet/dry vac, chainsaw, drill/drive and the high torque impact.

 

I dont see any good sales on Home Depot, Acme Tools, Northern Tool right now, I would wait for veterans day sales if you can. For your tools usage I would recommend you aim to get 5ah and 12ah batteries. The 8am is going to get pretty old using the drill/driver and the impact wrench.

 

Dunno what you consider decent but can buy any tool/combo that comes with a “free battery” at Home Depot, then return the tool to end up with a discounted battery (or the other way around).

Just make sure they show up as separate items in the cart.

Yes, the tool plus battery deal is pretty much the better bargain. If you can wait, I’d hold off till the Christmas sales start around turkey day. You can get a couple 6’s with a new tool you might want. Or be like me and get a tool and 2 batteries and another free tool on top of the deal. I have 4 6AH batteries with a couple 5’s and 2’s and those 6’s run my pole saw pretty darn good. My grinder will worry some batteries but the hackzall or the pole saw last quite a while on them

 

Because I liked the little M12s I got a set of basic drills and bits to keep at grandma's for when I'm over there...
