I always pack a rain poncho or something of the sorts in the back seat. I live in Montana so the unexpecting winter storm and rain always rolls in. If you need to change a spare or something, it can come in handy.

One odd thing I always keep is a portable backpacking grill that you put over an open fire. When you have fresh fish, cooking is always a good time.

Looks like you’ve got a great start! Here are a few additional essentials I’d recommend for everyday driving:

    1. Tire plug kit – Handy for quick puncture repairs.
    2. Jumper cables or a portable jump starter – You never know when you or someone else might need a jump.
    3. Multitool – Covers a lot of bases in a compact form.
    4. Duct tape and zip ties – For quick fixes on the go.
    5. Gloves – To protect your hands during roadside repairs.
    6. First aid kit – Always useful in case of minor injuries.
    7. Basic wrench set – For quick fixes beyond what the ratcheting driver can handle.
    8. Tow strap – Just in case you or someone else gets stuck.
These should round out your kit nicely for normal driving scenarios!

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
I didn't look through all 150 posts but I've found a couple of ratchet straps can really come in handy when trying to limp something a short ways. They got me and my quad back to my truck twice by holding a broken ball joint together and a snapped axle housing up so I could get back by driving the front wheels.

Recently added a pistol safe behind the rear driver seat. It's a must have for CC situations where you can't bring your pistol with you.

I am a minimalist, the tool roll should have
only the single 1/2 ratchet with metric and ASE sockets from small to 22mm-3/4" Box end wrenches are included in this bundle.
    a very tiny shovel.
A single pair of pliers/wire cutters/ stripper in one. I use the new Milwaukee flat nose wire cutter/stripper.
    1 medium crescent wrench,
    1 medium channel lock.
    Deerskin gloves.
If I need more than this, it should be in a shop for repairs and I will call for a tow out.
of course I have the other necessities but this thread was about the tool roll.
    I always have
small fire extinguisher between drivers seat and door
    first aid kit
    Tire plug kit
    winch and recovery gear
on board air with gage and hose
    bear mace in drivers door
    Pistol
I don't have a high lift jack because again, if I need that I am already doomed and need help.
I choose to go easier 4x4 locations, green routes on the On X app. North rim Grand Canyon.

These seem to be a new product at Habor Freight. Cheap alternative to Quick Fist mounts. I bought a couple. Hopefully they’ll hold up!

This being an interesting conversation to read. Everyone packs their truck differently per their lifestyle.

These are daily must have in my truck:
    - Trauma First Aid Kit
    - Glass Water Bottle
    - Glass breaker/ Seatbelt Cutter
    - Pocket Knife
    - My Glock with two extra mag
    - Dog Paw Cleaning Tools/ Dog Bowl / Extra Leash
    - 2 or 3 Towels: Dog Cleaning, or my truck
    - Mini tools box /Basic Wrench Set
    - Tire Seal Kit
    - 1000 Lumens Flashlight
    - Mini Mace
    - Pocket Shovel
    - Hand Sanitizer, Reusable Utensils
    - Packable Rain Gear (both myself & dogs)
    - Bungee cords, Ratchet Strap, Small Tarp
    - Trash Bags
    - Small bag of back up clothes/ toiletries
    - Travel Pillow/ Packable small blanket
    - Trailer Hitch Attachment

I also packed two different type of totes (for example: Winter Supplies/ Long distance travel) to keep in my garage. Depending on the weather or my trip I will load up the additional gears.
