Seems like a monopoly where the car manufacturers are in colusion with the car insurance companies to maximize profits taken from the consumer, like Price-Fixing. Where is Ralph Nader when you need him? I wonder what information the 2020 tacoma sends back to skynet, has anyone on this forum requested, and received, the lexisnexis report from their vehicle? That video is eye opening.

No one needs Ralph Nader, especially not fans of the Corvair.

I don't think Tacoma is that smart, at least not until 4th gen. These trucks are not that advanced which is what I love about them, reason I bought it. Simple and collected, no extra bs.

We do have brake warning, you think that might be sending data? every time it beeps?

Progressive has device like that, you install it for 1-2 months, and it tracks your driving habits, brake habits. At the end, they decrease your monthly payment based on how good you are driving, so that's a good side of it. But this is something you install your self on the car, I got my insurance reduced like that, i was considered as a safe driver.

They gonna ask what trouble you are having, do you need a tow? Tell them it's a non emergency and want to be connected to account services.
