Yeah I figure I will hit the mountains until the snow flies then give the desert a go.

Yes Albuquerque has a high crime rate. I don't worry about it.

 

Yah - Jemez; Taos; lots of good stuff. Even with the snow flying.

Lots of good stuff in SF area too. ABQ is mostly 2 hours for me - it's a big area, crime and less crime? It's not all bad.

Not a fan? The mountain is amazing. The cornice drops are steep and the moguls are the size of VW Beatles.
