Had to have the hatch on mine done. Tiny little spot turned out to be a bunch of rot around the window under the gasket. That was fun. Water, as always, is a sneaky little shit.

Same here as it's been pretty hot this last week as well

It's why I normally do lawn work in the mornings

It's cool working in the garage as long as the door stays closed

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
The wiring in the tailgate is wrapped with insulation with a cloth texture. This insulation attracts and retains moisture, and the metal it touches is prone to rust.

My favorite is when im working on stuff and its all suppose to be stainless because its in a corrosive environment but you would never be able to tell it was SS by how badly rusted it is.

I consider it sometimes, just a simple setup on the left side of the garage.

If you got the breaker space its just a couple hours worth of work to install one. And probably about 1500-2k for the unit and material

@Kwikvette insulating the garage door will help keep the heat out too

Got a few spots, I only know this because I installed my own 220v for my welder/plasma cutter

I'm just not the type to drill holes in a wall, running conduit, etc.

Course, easy stuff for you but the run I did was real short

It's insulated, hence why it's cool with the door closed

I don’t think 7500 is an overpay for a running, low-rust Land Cruiser with a fresh timing belt and water pump, regardless of whether or not me buying it is a good idea.

Yeah I'd heard of that happening as well. Mine wasn't that but def something to keep an eye out for, as well as the license place lights on the bottom of the tailgate, I've seen those areas get really nasty.

That happened to me with some stainless hardware on my roof rack. Turns out, not so stainless. Now I have two panels of glass on my truck shell with big stains on em from water dripping off that rusty hardware.
I'm looking forward to seeing a coastal Cybertruck in 10 years.

Won't be for awhile since AC in the garage is low priority!

    But for sure :fistbump:

Other tools are more important

So you're trading your 96with known issues for a 98 mystery box?
