Funny you ask . It’s unreal . It’s a real pain in the ass trying to get ice cream around here . All summer long was an ice cream fiasco. 4 places here for ice cream and they all suck in one way or another .

 

I think I ate there in okie…. Was good, not incredible but good.

They aren't my favorite. I agree with you- not bad, but not memorably great. I almost think they're unbalanced, like it's just a hair too sweet.

 

Now for all you Texans out there in the Hill Country. Several years ago I went stay with my twin sister in either San Antonio, or Austin. I can't remember which one. But H.E.B. a local food store in the state sold Hill Country Peach Ice Cream, and Hill Country Butter Pecan. She got really pissed one day when she came home and I had the freezer full of ice cream. That was some good stuff back then.

Sadly not like it used to be . Most farms have been bought up by citiots
Some have been basically abandoned. Others like the one across from me is a Black Angus farm that they want to lease some to a solar company. NY really sucks . I’m too old to pick up and leave . I could get a nice price for my house but then what my taxes are cheap compared to others in the area .Im kinda gliding under the radar . The assessor used to live 3 doors down .

 

I would love to move to the middle of no where like the woods of Iowa but the wife won’t have any of that nonsense.

I’m sorry! We were good on the last one. 70-80mph wind butt only 1” of rain. Looks like a Cat 4 on the way. Got generator gas so I can still plug in my Telecaster and rock out! The Telecaster is an interesting thing. The first solid body electric guitar. (1952) They mocked him. Said it looked like a shovel! It shovels out alright! Most times, simple is best.
