It's Rhino liner equivalent, @2RZNoShi1 works for a dealer and their coatings guy snuck me in after some other scheduled trucks.

Definitely going to be late for work this week.. they are launching these things all over the place during the week. Need to bring my camera with me to watch one set off.

Clearly ReMax has absolutely blown its advertising budget entirely in the wrong market... now this is where the balloon money is...

@Speedytech7 real talk, what’s the most you’d pay for this thing as a 100 series hater? Could I find something similar under 10k in the PNW?

I'm probably not the right person to ask, I already own a 80 series LC. I wouldn't pay over 5k for one but it ranks lower than a 4th gen 4Runner to me. I see them with less miles and sub 9k all the time around here. They're plenty cheap being below 10k but I'd still take a bone stock 4th gen runner with the 1GR over a 100 series though bang for the buck wise. Runner is more capable and has better suspension support options being that the Prado 120 platform is ubiquitous and the 100 series front suspension was a one off.

It's funny because before you even posted, I told myself $5k max if it checked all the boxes

But with the known rust, bad tires, and unknowns I'd just skip that rig altogerher.

It seems like you might as well get an early 5th gen at that point to get the 8.2” rear and various other upgrades.

as the days get shorter and nights longer, I'm driving in the dark more now; thinking I may buy an RX330 side view mirror to test a retrofit of... it has EC glass

Prices go up dramatically for those, I like them all the same though. The point is kinda moot for me I already don't use the SUV I have much, certainly not buying another anytime soon.

Seems like I already suggested a 4th Gen to him multiple times

I looked closely and it was just spots of surface rust, no rot, including on the rear crossmember that always has holes in northern climates.

I have been burned before buying vehicles with mismatched tires though - my first Tacoma had uneven wear and it turned out to be a tweaked rear axle.

Can you touch an 80 series out that way for under 10k? I don’t see many listed rn, and most look ragged out.

Not a nice one, I'm sure you could find a serviceable one for like 6-8k though. Running and driving (mostly) with some dents and a ragged interior usually goes for about that around here.

I think you need to go on Amazon and find some stuff you want with same or next day shipping, and just get that dopamine hit you need without getting a car loan.
Bonus points if those things from Amazon are the parts your truck needs.

I don’t trust them for car parts. So many fakes on there.

    @Ozark_RegCab

You're way passed the point where you should be asking anyone anything, especially here. You ask for help, and when it's given, you go against it every chance you get.

You ask for opinions, then constantly challenge those opinions from either an old post you read, or a short interaction from some rando on FB you barely talk to.

Some people are still set on giving you the time of day, others have ignored you altogether.

I can be a dick at times, but man you are inconsiderate as fuck when it comes to people giving you their time of day
