My MIG finger has been out of commission for years. I use the middle finger to push the trigger these days.

I didn't need a Dr to tell me I got arthritis.

My 1st cousin got married Friday evening. My moms brothers son. He and his brother both killed their 1st deer with me cause his dad worked a lot. We also shot a lot of doves together back when he and his brother were young.

My wife and I weren't invited to the wedding :laugh::laughing::laugh::laughing:

I don't know if I'd use the term " lucky" so loosely.

Get to spend the morning loading up the trailer with scrap metal.

    I hate the job.

The yard workers take so long to sort thru all your junk.

You get paid, but it ain't much.

I agree with you, it's more of a cleaning up effort than doing it for money.

Thank you for asking, as for my family we are good. As far as the area I live in they just announced schools are closed until things are safe and better. We have 2 cities that were destroyed. If you see the news the town's of Marshall is using along with Hot Springs. There's so many more areas that are completely destroyed. We saw military choppers and private choppers flying over head all day yesterday heading into the hard hit areas.
The biggest thing is to get the word out that help is here and really not believing the negativity out there. I do see the help. Power is coming back and cell service is coming back on line.
The thing that is hurting our areas is the looting. These lowlife individuals need to stop taking advantage of the situation and hurting the recovery efforts.

Thank you for your help and prayers.

There's a special place in hell for the low life's looting anywhere, especially somewhere like that.

I saw 4 chinook helicopters fly over our house Saturday, not sure if they were going to or from the storm area.

I haven't heard my boss mention his wife's name in about 3-4 years which is weird. I told my wife a couple times I bet they split up. They been married a while, like close to 30 years.

Just looked at his dads obituary and his siblings are mentioned with their spouse, he is mentioned alone. I guess that confirms it.

My wife has ask me why don't I ask him, I tell her guys don't do that

Better to board up now than when the wind is blowing.

Jeff, are they keeping you at your station or moving you closer to the city for anticipated rescues and evacuation assistance?

    Lots going on for sure.

Re: oiling air tools - if they REALLY dry out, you're going to find yourself looking for a replacement trigger after the seal pops an air leak. (Personal experience with a finish nailer I had :anonymous:. On the plus side, learned replacing the trigger ain’t no rocket surgery.)

@six5crèéd , young people haven’t learned the importance of lifelong relationships yet. Wouldn’t surprise me if at some point they regret not inviting you and your wife to their wedding.

Not mentioning all you FL folks by name because I don’t want to leave anyone out but positive thoughts for the best possible outcomes for all. (Including you @Fargo Taco but for other reasons.)

Lastly re new poll, several other finger issues going on but the ‘rhitis isn’t one of them. Good luck to all afflicted

I ran the manual lathe here a couple years, many many years ago. I do not, nor do I want to know how to run the cnc lathe we have now in cnc mode. I would rather run the mill.

I've been making a few things on the lathe in manual mode trying to help the boss out since the coworker is out and he's pretty good about coming to me asking me if I feel comfortable making this or that.

I just went to get my next job and it was a lathe job, 11 pieces, short, with angles on both sides, etc.

I went in his office and laid the print on his desk and laughed. He said I thought I'd try
