Nice. It was right around 100 for me. Nice event, I'll probably try to hit it a couple of times next season.

That was a beautiful assortment, @BkerChuck! Not a big bike guy, but I've never seen many of those at all!

    Afternoon all:

    Cool bike pics. Chuck!

Neat pics of the mountain goats Travlr!

Geez Jim, not looking good for Fl, hopefully there's no major damage at either of your places. :fingerscrossed:

2nd morning out hunting, another blank! My hunting buddy said he now needs 3 shots in his one eye instead of 1! :( Hate to say it, but it sounds like he's going to be blind or close to it somewhere down the road, not like he doesn't have enough problems.

Sorry to hear about your friend.

This guy cruises by on my property every now and then.
I have does living here and hopefully he'll come by when it's light out when he gets frisky.
I'll let the air out of him if he comes in.

Good morning. @Oldie2007 Hope the therapy sessions went well yesterday. Fall semester classes start back up today, chair yoga next up. Have to take the Tacoma through emissions inspection today. Sausage and peppers for dinner tonight, might gussie it up with a red pasta sauce.

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Thanks, @ImpulseRed008 and @95SLE. The neck therapy has really helped - more range of motion in most directions (not all), and very reduced pain levels. Big muscle knots are almost gone. Dr. said if that's good, he'll refer more PT. Asked about a shot, and he really wasn't in favor of that at this point - it's not really an injection, but anyway. No, the vertebrae will stay fused. Hops and back we are building strength, so I can get a shot and take advantage of more PT while being a little more flexible and forgiving (I hope). Pretty sore this morning tho. Yes, eventually replacements are the solution.

Day of no Doc or therapy, so I am going to do some stuff if it takes all day! Wish it would cool off though. Speaking of wishes, here's hoping Milton just stalls out to a TD before heading to Floriday! You all stay safe there, and watch those warnings. Sounded like you have a good plan Jim!

Morning gang. I think cutting the back yard is on the agenda for this afternoon. After that ???? Make it a good day.

G’day! As my Aussie friends say.

Hope everyone in Florida has moved away to a safe zone? My friends on Merritt Island have gone to Miami in hopes the hurricane stays north of them. According to the Hurricane Center this one may set a strength record. Scary stuff!

Kettlebell day! Then winterizing the Casita. May have one more fishing trip in the works for North Park lakes, but will likely only take the Taco with the Super Pacific. I bought a 12v electric blanket to try out. Last week the Walden area got down to 24*, so the e-blanket might come in handy!

I’ve been hoping for a good West wind to blow the leaves away, but no luck. Guess I should go blow and rake again. It should make some great compost by this time next year if I keep it moist and turned.

Not the most exciting day here, but at least I can keep busy and out of trouble. Everyone stay safe and have a great “hump day”!

Want some coffee filters? A funny little thing happened concerning ordering from Amazon. I was about out of coffee filters and when I went to the store they didn’t have the size I use. Wife said she’d order some from Amazon. I told her to order 4 boxes of 100 to a box , total 400 filters. They arrived 1 day later . I thought for 4 small boxes that they were shipped in a rather large shipping box. When I opened it I found 4 large boxes and each box contained 6 boxes of 100 each coffee filters. So I now have 2400 filters, 2000 more than I ordered. Charged us for 400. We informed Amazon and they told us to just keep them. So if I use one a day I have 6 1/2 years worth. Amazon is our friend.
On another note prayers to those affected by the coming hurricane. I pray for a miracle.
Have a good day all, stay safe.
