A random piece of tubing I had and a hose clamp. I can get the size.

This was for a gx 470

Bet I already have all the hose packed and zip ties for the ac drain… see if you can score a rear diff breather kit. Plenty of hole saws packed too

 I found a couple on Ebay. Seems easy enough, I also have to get the bed light and the light figured out, so that probably won't happen before AOAA. The AC drain is under the hood at least. I think that's basically what you just listed - a hose clamp/zip tie and a section of tube.

Oh I have a food plan but we'll see if I execute it.
I am committed for the communal meal. But the personal plans are....haphazard at best :)
I have a box of wine already though, so at least there's that.

The AC drain is - I think - basically just that, extend a tube a bit to below the frame.
The diff breather is a bit/smidge more involved.

Changed my communal dinner to jerk chicken. Don’t like the idea of having to cook adovada wed and not eating till Saturday. Way less work for me too.

I’m not sure, I am digging deep to try and remember what Jared had said when we were changing the gear oils, all I can remember is that I bought cheap Wally World oil. But do need to change out the oils again, did some water crossings in the Smokeys in June and need to put better quality oil in this time.

I hope to make it to the mod day. Depends on if my garden work is done by then. If not, I’ll get to one soon.

Oh damn. Now that's two chickens. :duel:I was going to do Mozambique.
Let me check on the thread - I might do something else. I don't think bread would do well traveling that long or making it there. I ain't got no other skills cap'n!

The SuperTech 0W-20 is like #2 out of 20 oils tested.
I can't find the thread, maybe it was a youtube video, but someone tested it in a bunch of different properties and for 0W-20, the walmart super tech was in the top 3 for oils...surprisingly.

The gear oils - no idea, but honestly, these are troks, not F1 cars....I'd trust the Walmart jugs to the Toyota service intervals and not really overthink it (I do, actually).

Likewise. it's a week after AOAA.
I'm not voting but I can't do Saturday. Not worth planning around me, "I'm a maybe" has been my response for the past....6? 7? But if it's Sunday, I'll see what I can do! If I go and do anything on mine it would just be rear diff or something, I'll bring gloves and help others.

Hard to do a pork dish when the other guy is bringing the whole hog and a guy just to cook it on a traveling smoker.
I’ll do mine as wings if it helps. Otherwise I was going to do legs and thighs.

Nah do it as is, I'm going way different this year. Might do horchata... Still thinking about what would round it out nicely.

Diff breather takes a few minutes like the AC drain mod

Rainy, wet, doing all my food prep for camping this weekend tonight, getting a sewing table tomorrow.

May have went out and bought a sewing machine this weekend.... @deanosaurus

Singer heavy duty. We were going to go down one "model" or "Trim" or whatever the sewing machines go by, but this one was up 1 and on sale for the same cost as that "downtrim" model. This does some more patterns, which I don't think I really care about, but it also does one step button holes. Which, I kind of care about? (In theory).

But right now it's on a folding table and when it hits resonant frequency, the whole shebang goes haywire. One in town for 40$ that I think includes another machine  - dry tomorrow, so I asked the seller if I can go tomorrow when it's dry instead.

The woes of new england - we need something to keep us occupied in the winter! So, this year, we chose learning/doing sewing :confused::confused::confused:

Dean - Haven't done anything on that jean jacket stuff I asked you about, but I'm making some strides. I think.

How bout you, how's the beautiful weather?

Where in London are they going? We were there for New Years 2023.
Don't really have much advice for where to go - we mainly stuck to the tourist stuff you could go to any travel site to find in their top 10 lists.
Vegan food was fantastic though, I can give you recommendations for that if you need them

If you're into Ethiopian in DC:
    https://maps.app.goo.gl/17FJHiEPGyvyJYq97

Otherwise I think the same comment for DC - my experience isn't much deeper than the travel blogs top tens you can find.

If you're in AdMo - Keren Cafe is another great Ethiopian place, and Roofers Union is a rooftop bar with a one-step-above-okay view (not great, but better than okay).
