Oh okay. Welcome. I have to use my impact wrench on that silver disk with the 3/8" hole to get it loose, then Its pretty easy to then get the tool on the housing to loosen it somewhat easily. That housing should only be torqued to about 15 ft/lbs if i remember correctly.

I had that experience on my RAV4. Didn't think I'd ever get the tool off the housing. I have 2-3 of the tools. Tried 2 of them...

    This and that
You try going in the wrong direction? Give it a little wiggle.

I've lived in NH my whole adult life. Usually more deer around here than people but that's changing.

I bought an awesome snow removal machine so there probably won't be much snow. Cold is relative....

Sometimes you need to break a "seal" of sorts on bolts or other screwed-in things.

If there is a concern, blackstone is a pretty cheap piece of mind. I think it’s under $40 for a full oil analysis. I thought my oil smelled very rich of gas and sent a sample out.

I would prefer the deer. I hope the snow machine lives up to your expectations, if not, look into the link below.

A cold engine will help too, parts won’t be swollen. Like sitting over night cold

I think 18 was the last of the manuals. Wasn’t a fan of that oem sr rubber knob. It’s an auto. 8 balls are $16.79. You still have that opportunity. Gives the interior a little flavor. Sr’s are pretty basic.

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
An 8 ball goes for a lot more than $17 around here.
