    The GMC returned today...

Top & sides of frame chipped, wire brushed & primed.

Took off the bumper & hitch, going to clean & paint the hitch too, the bumper is mostly plastic so at least that can't rust too bad.

We have refined the box removal process too.

I recall driving on some mtn roads that were just like that, or maybe even a little tighter on the turns. It was a lot of fun for a driving enthusiast. Hopefully they get rebuilt sooooon!

I trust my welds, I don't think it would be running perfectly true and turning as fast as it does, would be a tad out of balance and then the guy who didn't want to buy the right part would come back and put the blame on me for it not being correct. Nope was what he got cause some things just aren't worth the headache.

I figured out why my truck ran out of diesel a few months ago. The gauge said it had 1/8th of a tank when it ran out.

I drove it to Charlotte a couple weeks ago and a couple places around home. It was down to 1/4 of a tank.

I had to drive it today to pick up a welding job and when I left the house it said 1/4 tank.

I stopped and filled it up near work for $2.96 a gallon. I put 23.8 gallons in it, it has a 26 gallon tank

Days like today make me glad Im in a union. Wind isn't crazy, yet. But Kennedy Space Center is closed, essential personnel only. My brass says ehh wind isn't that bad you need to be at work. Ok got it.

My union book says if base is closed I make base +15.00/hr no ifs ands or buts about it. And I'll remember you calling us essential when we negotiate in 3 years for dang sure.
