Beautiful! Bullet proof trucks. Thanks to Bigfoot, a lot of those trucks were turned into monster mudders here in Fla back in the 80s. Most of them that are left have become stripped down rusty shells.

I can understand why tube work is very expensive. This shit is very time consuming to say the least

Isaac Newton's little known 4th law: tube work time cannot be created or destroyed.

You might think with practice that you're getting faster. You're wrong... Turns out you just prefer tape measure and angle finder time vs grinder time.

Have fun and try to enjoy the process. It does get easier

5th law, buy double the amount of tube you think you need. You will make two identical parts instead of mirrored parts at least once a project.

But you see, the 5th law reinforces the 4th. Make it twice fast or once slow, and the time spent remains unchanged.

I knew I had it down after finishing my cage and having a single 5 gallon bucket of pieces less than 3” long and my “spare” stick fully intact.

I remember one of my first big tube projects eating near double the material it should have. All about time and consistency.

Is there anybody making a 3rd gen 1 piece front yet? I can’t find it, but you never know.

Different strokes I guess! Personally not a huge fan of the third gen look, I don't hate it either, but I do like the fourth gen. Would love to do a fourth gen conversion on mine if glass for it ever came out

I dislikes the 3rd gen’s when they came out, but they grew on me.
With glass on them, the front looks great. @906taco truck looks fantastic.
I think the 2nd gen bedside/rear still look the best tho. Simple and swoopy

I was the same way with 3rd gen’s. But they grew on me over the course of time. The aggressiveness of the lines is why I love it so much.

I'd like to convert my 2nd gen into 3/4th just for the advances in headlight technology.

2nd gens are fine, but they're pretty large reflectors for the amount of light they produce.

I’m aware lol. It was more sarcasm than anything. I personally prefer hand notching.
