Its called a power washer, or manually do it at a self car wash.

UPDATE: The graffiti adaptors that I bought on Amazon did not fit the Cosmoline cans (too small). I drilled out the end that goes on the can to make it work. I used a #25 drill bit which is half way between 9/64" and 5/32".

You really need an extension to get in all of the inaccessible places and the small hose fits in a lot of holes that a full size gun won't.

LOL @ me attempting with 4 rattle cans of woolwax clear. Got me a solid coat on the exterior frame, the rear diff and most other random ends. Sprayed the spare tire mount. Ordering another 6 cans to spray another layer and catch some hard to reach areas later this week. its a start

I just did the fluid film today, I only used 3 cans and it did just fine.
On heavy coated areas I used a rubber glove to rub it in a bit.

I did however get some on my exhaust and did my best to remove it.

Question, is it flammable after being sprayed and sitting?

I don't think it is flammable, just really stinky as it burns/cooks off.

Haven't seen much online from people that used it on a vehicle for 10-15-20 years. Where did rust become a problem? Would really be interested in long-term results from people. It seems proven that at the 6-8 year mark FF vehicles are virtually rust free, and untreated cars are starting to rust at this point.

Just coated my new 23 Tacoma so it's fresh on my mind. I used a spray gun, and the rocker access thru the plugs only allow the tip of the 360 nozzle in, and I feel I need a better solution -- the ability to snake a line in there. Also does not fit in any doors but the hole at the front door latch, so I need to either pull panels or drill a hole, or ideally figure out a way to create a 1/8" 360 wand extension for my spray gun.

    Anyone have advice?

I only did the underneath of my vehicle, adding it to the inside of doors might cause issues to my speakers, but I might be wrong...

I really think you should coat the inside of the door at the pinch seam. I even sprayed it on the outside seam and then wiped down the weather stripping with Clorox wipes.

One thing to consider when applying FF, whether from the rattle can, or via a spray gun, is wearing a respirator. The FF is aerosolized during application. Your face, nose, and mouth are probably pretty close to the underside of the truck and getting bounce back. I've found that a tight-fitting half face respirator with organic vapor cartridges work best for keeping this stuff out of your lungs and respiratory system. This stuff smells enough as it is as it burns off the truck. I don't want to taste or smell this any more than I have to!

Hope this helps folks and keeps you safe.

When I used FF on my under carriage I had safety glasses and a N95 mask.
    Fluid film does stink imo.

Anyone have recommendations for shops that apply fluid film professionally? I'd like to get my third gen coated. Have had very good results on trucks in the past. Mass or surrounding areas? Thanks

Question on this. What are people doing to get the fluid film behind the fender liners? Are they pulling fender liners and wheel well liners?

Possibly a dumb question here, but how necessary is this for someone who lives in the Denver area and travels up to the mountains 10x +/- a winter?

No, I just get it the best I can from underneath.

Does Denver get snow? Is salt used on the roads?

I do not believe they salt the roads in Colorado.

We do get snow once in a while but it doesn’t stick.

I would take a look underneath just to see how the frame looks.
