    Yeah.
I have not done the tune either, and after switching to 5.29's, I firmly believe the issue is mostly about gear ratios and less about the tune. They've just geared this truck too tall for the available power. It was drivable in completely stock form, but adding bigger tires really showed how close to the edge the gearing was. The stock tune works great with a reasonable gear ratio.

That's what I thought but he called it a mattress so I thought maybe it was a way to catch some sleep a little more comfortably in the back of the truck.

Took my 2023 trail edition to the dealership since it’s under warranty at 19k miles for what sounded like a drum brake pad scraping. Figured an easy fix but what the hell, they’re paying for it. Four hours later and they send me a video. Rear diff is failing and needs replacement. I’m shocked. They said it had diff fluid but it seemed that something may have been machined wrong and it ate itself. Truthfully? I was noticing a bit of a thud sometimes in stop and go type scenarios, maybe pre mature gear wear? either way warranty will get it, they have a new diff coming tomorrow and will probably be turned around by Monday barring any other issues. From what I’ve read Toyota pre builds their diffs and they basically plug in after rear axles are removed.
You guys hear of bad diffs? I read a bunch here and don’t remember anything like this scenario.

I bought more mint pouches than a tabacky dipper trying to quit and stuffed them in the various compartments throughout the cab.

Now everything smells like a peppermint factory and the mice have something tasty to chew on.

^^ I have 3 cars loaded up with mint stuff and FreshCab after losing a car to dead animal smell !!

Got my oil changed at the dealer. I happened to be peaking around the corner and see the 'tech' trying to get the filter unscrewed...16" wrench handle try one>> he looks at it.... try 2: another pause and some rubber hammer taps, Try three, pause, more rubber hammer, try 4. Then another guy steps over with a 3 foot breaker bar. No kidding ! More than shoulder wide ! And that took care of it.
I also got new winter tires and stopped on the way home to get a beauty shot.

When I got home, I put the new tailgate inner on.

My 22 has 33k on it and it get a worn out truck ujoint kind of pop when i put it in reverse or back into drive, like there is a ridiculous amount of slop in what should feel like a tight new driveline. I've tried a couple of different scenarios and can only duplicate it when its cold/first drive of the day.

as for staying on topic...I have an SR and picked up some SR5 painted flares from a local guy today for a steal. I'm going to wrap them in forged carbon fiber vinyl and see how that looks. if thats a failure I'll just do semi-flat black.

I guess that's what a warranty is for. Most trucks have no issues but if something went wrong you're covered. I've been driving high mileage (well, they started out new) Toyotas for decades and have never had a major problem. But it could happen.
