I know Creeds not that kinda guy but there's guys I know that when prompted to learn something new act like Bubbles and all of a sudden don't have a brain. Uhh what does this lever do? They just figure if I do this poorly enough boss will never ask me to do it again.

 

Made a couple brackets and mounted a fishing basket on a buddies Dodge.

Oh btw....that new piece of property still aint mine. We put down sum monies and they told us it may take up to a month....its been 15 weeks.
Havent heard a word. Crickets.

And dont get me started on the car accident we were in on June 18th...we just got her car back a few days ago and it looks like it was repaired by clowns wearing oven mitts.

Oh...we also have a lawyer (because of a small medical issue from the wreck)....he has yet to contact me. Not one single time.
I made an appointment with him for next Tuesday, I'll be walking in there carrying a briefcase chock full of my favorite cuss words.
I dont like it at all but sometimes (I've learned) that if you drop an f-bomb or three it seems to gather a person's attention.

I still believe this is the greatest country in the world, but the level of 'doing your job' is pitiful.

Also....
I know there are millions of people with far far worse problems than I have, but these are the ones I'm currently dealing with.

I truly hope the best for all of the people affected by the hurricanes. Take care of yourselves, the rest of it is just stuff.

Thanks buddy. And its just stuff, Im honestly not worried about it. What bothers me is the lack of effort people put into doing their job.
The auto repair guy? He's had the business for almost 40 years....I wouldnt let this car leave my business if it was going to a scrap yard.

The trim above the window should be flush.


And the new wheel he ordered? Its covered in road rash. Not shipping scratches...its hit curbs in its lifetime.

And the lawyer? In 15 weeks he could call at least one time and say "been busy, aint forgot about you". But he hasnt.

I'll stop now, you gotta a great thread here, I aint tryin to ruin it.

Prayers and thoughts

 

Thanks all for the thoughts and prayers, its helped for sure. I was up at 130 when that branch came down, and you feel it hit the ground as you hear it, you can't help but wonder what's next. And prayers with you and yours Mark, that's awful.

I'll have a pre Milton and post Milton metal chair comparison once I dig it out from under the tree.

And Stock those idiots are prepared for you and your f bomb friends. They know they aren't doing you right. When you show up, keep your f bomb friends in your pocket and kill them with niceness they might bend over backwards and hand you a mint. Just a thought.
