I'm doing a drain and refill on my 4L 2009 Prerunner for the first time. After I gottruck into AT check mode by jumping slots 4 and 13 on the OBD-II, but after getting the light was immediately flashing, which to the best of my knowledge indicates that the truck is above AT check temp.

The engine hasn't run for at least 3 and a half hours, although it is about 90 degrees out. The temperature gauge indicated about 1/4 of the entire gauge. Does the truck need to cool down more, or is this a different issue? Unfortunately, I don't have a spare $300 for a code reader so I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience/knowledge.

Probably needs to cool down overnight, check temp is 95-115F.

Possible dumb question, but do you know if there would be any harm in moving the truck while overfilled? I would just be moving from the garage to the street.

Nah your fine, slightly overfilled won't hurt anything to drive it a short distance.
