what o-rings lol... like legit the torch cable itself?

 

The connecting plug from torch to machine has an o-ring. Many of them do since air goes through the plasma cutter and out through the torch.

The other one is on the torch head, and is readily visible when you pull your retaining cap.

I thought nothing of it because they look shiny (pre-lubed from the factory) not to mention all of it is less than 2 months old. I even checked them out and they had that residue feeling on them meaning they were "lubed".

Well, spinning them around a bit while adding some lube provided the above results.

Hoping this weekend any parts cut out experience the same results (or better).

 

Yeaa I can get the old actuator to work going straight to the battery, now one doesn't do shit

 

Anyway, ordered a 5 pack of o-rings and some lube.

Was pretty cheap so no real loss trying to see if it helps.

I'm probably brainfarting, but did someone at the lunch table work (mechanic) at a Lexus dealer or was it a Toyota dealership?
Or maybe I'm wrong twice.
